Many of you are aware about the Redmi K30 Pro, recently xiaomi launched their new flagship POCO F2 Pro. You might be wondering why I am talking about Redmi K30 Pro its because these two phones having something in similar.. well maybe almost everything similar except the branding on the back side and some software changes and voila the new POCO F2 Pro.
Enough intro Lets move on to the Phone in detail.
Talking about the structure and design
The phone has got a glass sandwich design unlike the poly carbonate build of the previous POCO F1 model. Along with the aluminum frame the phone has a premium build to it. Xiaomi got rid of the massive notch which they on their POCO F1 and the F2 Pro comes with a fullscreen bezel-less display on the front.
Full screen and bezel-less.. hmm where is the selfie camera?
The selfie camera is housed in a pop-up assembly
The rear side incorporates a neat circular camera module with the POCO branding protected with a corning gorilla glass 5.
There is an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
The Notchless and bezel-less display
The POCO F2 Pro comes with the full screen and bezel-less 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display.
It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 2340 x 1080p resolution and a standard 60 Hz refresh rate.
The refresh rate on this phone is little bit disappointing because all the phones in the market are going for the highr refresh rate display panels Xiaomi is not really looking into it.
The Flagship Range Cameras?
POCO F2 Pro comes with a quad camera setup on the back.
Comes with a Primary 64MP Sony IM686 sensor, along with a 13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle lens with 123-degree Field of View, a 5MP telephoto macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
POCO F2 Pro lets you capture 8K videos, portrait videos, slow-motion selfies, and a lot more features..
The Selfie camera of this phone is a 20MP sensor.
The front camera can support video recording upto 120fps and vlog mode.
You'll get RGB notification light added on to the pop-up module. and is customizable
For the Gamers?
The phone itself is classified in the Flagship category.
POCO F2 Pro run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processors and comes with a liquid cooling 2.0 technology. The vapor chamber and graphene sheets on the inside keeps check of the temperature while gaming and doing heavy tasks
The phone supports 5G, No compromise in that.
The SD865 chipset is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. POCO F2 Pro supports read and write speeds up to 777MB/s
The phone really packs some punch.
POCO F2 Pro has got AnTuTu benchmark score of 589,983 which is higher than the One plus 8 Pro and Galaxy s20 plus (Exynos Variant)
The Software
The phone runs MIUI 11 for POCO based on Android 10.
The phone also has its POCO launcher setup out-of-the-box, giving the users access to a clutter-free app drawer.
Battery and Charging.
The phone has a 4700mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging.
Xiaomi ships the device with a fast charger so don't worry about that and it can charge up your phone to 100% in 63 minutes.
Talking about the Price
The phone comes in two variants :
6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB
POCO F2 Pro has been priced starting around at 499 euros | 40,750 INR for the 6GB variant and around 599 | 48,900 INR for the 8GB variant.
POCO F2 Pro is expected to get launched on India later this month..
